With a background of over 10 years experience in the Tanzanian tourism industry, we offer genuine first hand experience and in depth knowledge of all tourist operations throughout southern Tanzania – where to go, when to go, how to get there, all accommodation options and new and upcoming developments.

The directors of the company are Muba Chande, David Barker and Sven Liebchen. Muba is from Mombo in the Usambara Mountains, David is British and has been in Tanzania since 1999 and Sven is German born but came to Tanzania when he was 4 years old. Sven is a professional safari guide with qualifications from South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe and oversees all our safari operations and training of guides.

We use specially selected private campsites in Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park to ensure an exclusive experience away from other tourists.
The emphasis on these camps is to discover the ecosystems, flora and fauna of Selous and Ruaha using the expertise of one of the only professional safari guides specializing exclusively in south Tanzania safaris.

Our tented safaris in south Tanzania are best suited to those with a sense of adventure seeking a private safari and close contact with the African wilderness. We aim to provide a balance between the comfort and services available at safari lodges but with the exclusivity and excitement that only a camping experience in the bush can offer.
These safaris are often tailor made to include a combination of camping and lodges and can use either public or private campsites depending on budget.

If you want exclusive use of a safari vehicle at the lodges we can meet you at the airstrips and provide private game drives in the parks.
Most lodges in south Tanzania do provide their own safari vehicles but these are shared between other guests and often have restrictions on time spent on game drives – we offer unrestricted time/km game drives on every safari we operate.
Driving safaris between different parks staying at lodges are tailor made to suit time schedules.

We also offer itineraries and special group tours concentrating on the less visited areas of southern Tanzania including road trips combining the wilderness wildlife areas of Selous, Ruaha, Mikumi and Udzungwa Mountains as well as the mainland coast from Saadani down to Mtwara.

We use a fleet of Toyota Landcruisers based in Dar es Salaam with full safari conversions, experienced driver guides and satellite telephones equipped for exploratory road trips throughout southern Tanzania.
Alternatively we organize flying safaris connecting all the main tourist areas in southern Tanzania, and in some cases the TAZARA train is used for more adventurous itineraries. Beach extensions to the main;land coast, Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia can be organised after your safari.

Our underlying ethos is to promote the less visited areas of Tanzania using small, environmentally responsible camps and lodges whilst offering the highest quality of guiding and service available in each area of Tanzania. Our basic philosophy is that any visit to Tanzania should be a truly personal and unforgettable one encouraging you to keep returning to explore the many aspects of this beautiful country.
