THE FACILITIES
The Mbuyu Restaurant and Bar are situated around an old Baobab tree facing the Kilwa Masoko Bay & the island of Kilwa Kisiwani.
There is also a small swimming pool and down at the beach a beach bar, palm thatched shades with beach beds & beach shower.
THE ACTIVITIES
Dhow trips to Kilwa Kisiwani and guided tours of the ruins, swimming and snorkelling, sailing excursions, birdwatching trips, visits to the cave networks and nearby game reserves
THE VERDICT
The most hospitable of the limited accommodation options in Kilwa. Pretty basic but very good value.
