Located in the remote south west region of Selous away from the main tourist trails on the banks of the Rufiji River.

THE ACCOMMODATION

8 exclusive open fronted cottages with spacious bathrooms and balconies which overlook the Rufiji River. Style without the pretension, the cottages have been built from local materials which blend together naturally in a fusion of stone and wood.

THE FACILITIES

A central dining area and several peaceful sitting areas overlook the Rufiji river. The swimming pool has a surreal location on the edge of the river.

THE SAFARIS

Famed for the quality of walking safaris, game drives in open vehicles, boat safaris, fishing. Expert guiding which really takes you deep into the natural environment, not just scraping the surface.

THE VERDICT

Some places just have the ‘it’ factor and this is one of them. A very stylish camp which doesn’t seem to be trying too hard, relaxed but attentive service and a spectacular location. A place you can spend several days at and feel very much at home. The place for those wanting something extra from their visit to Selous.
