Visit the Bibi Jann Day Care Centre in Dar es Salaam, community and environment projects in Ruaha, the weekly local pottery market at Lake Nyasa as well as a local tourism initiative in the Rungwe region in the far south of Tanzania.

Arrival in Dar es Salaam, met and transfer to Mediterraneo Hotel, Kawe Beach. BB
DAY 2. FRIDAY DAR ES SALAAM
Visit to Bibi Jann Centre in Mbagala - www.bibijann.org.
Overnight Mediterraneo Hotel. BB
DAY 3. SATURDAY MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Drive Dar es Salaam to Mikumi (approx 4 ½ hours). Lunch at camp.
Afternoon game drive. Overnight Authentic Mikumi Camp. FB

Scenic drive through the southern highlands to Tukuyu (approx 7 hours).

Drive through the Livingstone Mountains to Matema beach, Lake Nyasa (approx 3½ hours).

Visit by dig out canoe to the famous local Saturday pottery market.

DAY 11. SUNDAY IRINGA
Drive through the highlands to Iringa region (approx 7 hours). Afternoon to relax at working farm. Overnight Kisolanza Farmhouse. BB
DAY 12. MONDAY RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Ruaha N.P. (approx 3 hours) with visit to the Environmental Center in Idodi supported by the Ruaha Conservation Fund - www.suestolberger.com/rcf.htm.
Afternoon game drive. Overnight Authentic Ruaha Camp. FB
