SAFARI TO SELOUS GAME RESERVE COMBINING LODGE and

DAY 1. SELOUS G.R.
Drive (approx 5 hours) or fly Dar es Salaam to Selous.
Scheduled flights at 08.30, 10.30 or 14.30.
Met and transfer to Selous Wilderness Camp located on the south bank of the Rufiji River. With just 7 tents the Camp offers a tranquil base from which to explore the Selous.
Lunch will be taken at the Camp and in the afternoon a boat safari taken on the Rufiji River. Overnight Selous Wilderness Camp. FB

DAY 2. SELOUS G.R.
Morning game drive through Selous to Authentic Tanzania private campsite.
The camp will be located in different areas according to season and game movements but will be positioned as close to the main wildlife activity as possible and usually overlooking one of the lakes.
Your safari itinerary will be discussed with your safari guide and is flexible to suit your requirements.
Late afternoon walking safari from the camp will be accompanied by an armed ranger.
Overnight Authentic Tanzania private campsite. FB

DAY 3. SELOUS G.R.
Early morning walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger.
Rest of the day spent on game drives on unrestricted time/km basis.

Full day game drive through Selous. Overnight Selous Wilderness Camp. FB

DAY 5. DEPART
Transfer to Mtemere airstrip to fly to Ruaha, Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam.
