SOUTHERN TANZANIA SAFARIS
Authentic Tanzania is based in Dar es Salaam and
is a specialist tour operator for southern Tanzania safaris and
exploring the Swahili Coast.
The southern parks and reserves including Mikumi,
Udzungwa Mountains, Selous,
Ruaha and Katavi
receive very few visitors compared to their northern counterparts
and offer a true African wilderness experience.
The variety of safaris is different in the south - walking safaris
and boat safaris as well as game drives add to a much more personal
interaction with the environment.

to suit specific requests. These mobile safaris use private
or public campsites, or a combination of camping and lodges,
and operate on an unlimited restriction of time/kilometres
spent out on safari.
