SELOUS PARK FEES TO INCREASE FROM JULY 01
2008.
The much debated increase in Selous park fees will
come into operation (again) from July 01 2008.
The new price will be $50 p.p./day park fee with an additional $25
p.p./day concession fee if staying at lodges inside the park and
additional $50p.p./day when staying at private campsites inside
the park.
We hope to see improvements in infrastructure to justify these increases
soon ……

REINTRODUCTION for YELLOW FEVER CERTIFICATE
Travellers to Tanzania will need to show a yellow
fever certificate on arrival in the country as per latest updated
advisory from Tanzanian health ministry in January 2008.
1.For all travellers coming directly from Europe
to Tanzania e.g on KLM flight, which did not cross an endemic country
the yellow fever Vaccination will not be necessary.
2.For all travellers coming from Europe
a) via or transitted through an endemic country e.g via Addis and
Nairobi, they will need the Yellow fever vaccination card.
b) On any internation flight to Nairobi then connecting charter
plane or KQ/PW flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport they
will need Yellow fever vaccination.
YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION ON ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
It is provided at the airport at a cost of usd 50 per pax.
Procedure.
On arrival the passengers must first go to the health desk then
to the Immigration desk,no passport will be accepted at immigration
desk without
a stamp from the Health department.
