WALKING SAFARIS IN SELOUS GAME RESERVE

Whilst most of the camps in Selous offer short walking safaris of around 2-3 hours there is also the possibility for longer more traditional walking safaris in Selous.

SAND RIVERS WALKING SAFARIS

Selous Walking Safaris depart every Monday during the dry season (between June & October). Four nights fly camping throughout the Sand Rivers area of Northern Selous, with the camp changing location every day. A fully serviced fly camp with an experienced support crew to move the camp, take care of all chores & to provide delicious food, cold drinks & hot showers throughout the safari.

These exciting walking safaris cover a variety of terrain including the river & lakes, riverine forest, miombo woodland, seasonal sand rivers, hot springs and open plains. A full day to day itinerary is available on request.
