Tanzania Beach Safari: Zanzibar Lodge

Spend your Tanzania Beach Safari on the beautiful Indian Ocean Spice Island of Zanzibar
DAY 1: Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar
Begin your Tanzania Safari and fly from Dar to Zanzibar (30 mins) where you will met and transferred to your boutique hotel in central Stonetown. You will spend the first two nights at the Zanzibar Coffee House (BB), where each room is elegantly furnished in the traditional style. Have your breakfasts on the roof top overlooking the old city.
Spend the first day of this Tanzania Safari exploring the winding streets and round off the day with a cocktail at Livingstone's.
DAY 2: Sightseeing in Stonetown
Walk around Stonetown and visit the Old Slave Market, the Forodhani Gardens, the House of Wonders and the Old Fort. Spend your afternoon collecting Tanzania Safari souvenirs to take home with you and watch the sundown from Africa House Hotel.
DAYS 3 to 6: Paradise beaches and relaxation
When you are ready, your taxi will collect you and transfer you to your beach retreat. The one hour journey will take you through rural villages and as you pass Jozani Forest keep your eyes peeled for the Colobus Monkeys jumping across the canopy overhead. At your beach lodge enjoy choose between the fresh water swimming pool, the sea or soaking up the rays on the beach. Dine each evening in the restaurant on a half board basis (HB). Spa treatments are available on site; or you can try some snorkeling, diving or kite surfing from a surf shack just up the beach. On one of the Tanzania Safari days you could always go on a spice tour, swim with dolphins or get a closer view of the monkeys in Jozani Forest: your Tanzania Safari choice. Just let us know what your preference is and Authentic Tanzania Safaris will make all the arrangements for you.
DAY 7: Return to Dar es Salaam
Your transfer to the airport and return flight to Dar es Salaam will be scheduled so that you allow plenty of time to check in for your international flight home.
